Well, that’s my fond name for them. These were growing at eye-level on top of a long, healthy yew branch.
This shot has inspired what might turn out to be a string of Murray Gold-related posts. He is behind the music on the new Dr Who and yes, I am a huge fan – of both the show and the soundtrack.
I love Gold’s sparing but effective use of synth with the orchestra and choir. Perfect for Dr Who, as it sounds both nostalgic and modern.
I feel a little of this in the image, with the crooked little towers and the afternoon sun shining through the canopy reminds me of unfocused stars and galaxies.
